Topo is a forecasting and analytics tool for e-commerce brands, built and operated by Evergreen Results. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you connect your Shopify store, Meta Ads account, or Google Ads account to Topo.

1. What Data We Collect

Shopify Store Data

Order data: order totals, dates, financial status, customer order counts, customer email, source/channel information
Refund data: refund amounts and dates

Google Ads Data

When you connect your Google Ads account, we access the following data via the Google Ads API:

Your Google account email address and name (via Google OAuth, used to identify your connection)
Google Ads customer account IDs and names (to let you select which account to sync)
Ad performance metrics: daily spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and conversion values at the ad group level
Campaign and ad group names, IDs, types, and statuses

This data is accessed in read-only mode using the Google Ads API (auth/adwords scope). Topo does not create, modify, pause, or delete any campaigns, ads, or other resources in your Google Ads account.

Meta Ads Data

When you connect your Meta Ads account, we access:

Ad account identifiers and names
Ad performance metrics: spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and conversion values at the ad level
Campaign, ad set, and ad names and IDs

Authentication Information

Your name and email address from your Google or Meta account (used to identify your connection within Topo)

All platform access is read-only. Topo never creates, edits, pauses, or manages your ads, products, or orders. We do not collect sensitive personal information, payment details, or browsing history.

2. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used solely to provide the Topo service to you:

Display your sales and ad performance metrics within the Topo dashboard
Generate revenue forecasts and analytics reports
Analyze trends in CPA, ROAS, MER, and seasonality to support budget planning
Identify new vs returning customer patterns

Your data is used only for your own account. We do not use your data to train models for other clients, benchmark against other accounts, or for any purpose outside of providing you the service.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. Your data is used exclusively to operate Topo on your behalf.

We use the following third-party infrastructure:

Supabase — cloud database provider. Processes data solely as a service provider and does not have independent access to or rights over your data.
Vercel — application hosting. Serves the Topo web application.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a Supabase cloud database with:

Encrypted data storage (at rest)
Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit
Row-level security policies limiting data access to authenticated users
Access controls limiting who within Evergreen Results can access stored data

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your Topo account is active. When you disconnect a data source (Shopify, Meta, or Google), you are given the option to delete all associated data. You may also request complete data deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law (including GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations) to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Topo after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Data Deletion Instructions

You have the right to request deletion of all data associated with your Topo account at any time.

Option 1: Email a Deletion Request

Send an email to support@evergreenresults.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request — Topo".

Upon receiving your request, we will:

Confirm receipt via email
Permanently delete all stored data within 30 days
Send confirmation once deletion is complete

Option 2: Disconnect Within the App

You can revoke Topo's access to your data directly from within the app by navigating to Settings > Integrations and disconnecting the data source. You will be asked if you want to delete all associated data.
